invalid argument to data encode
Hello Jordi,

I am a new user of Swisslog and I am still learning how to use te program.
It looks great, but there is one problem.

At start up, the message - invalid argument to date encode -  is popping up.

I am using Windows 10 and the 5.101a version of Swisslog.

How much I fix the problem?

Tnx for your answer in advance.

RE: invalid argument to data encode
Hello Koen,

This is solved in latest beta. Please read carefully this thread:

https://www.swisslogforwindows.com/forum...php?fid=27

Read the Beta versions info first and all the cumulative changes. I will release version 5.102 shortly but meantime install latest beta (you only have to replace the EXE file).

Hello Koen,

I forgot to tell you that you have to manually edit the configuration file and replace a line. Please read this thread:

https://www.swisslogforwindows.com/forum...hp?tid=861

All should work well after performing this.

RE: invalid argument to data encode
Hello Jordi,

The Date and time notation is Netherlands and is as follows:

d-M-jjjj

UU:mmConfuseds

I hope this is sufficient

RE: invalid argument to data encode
Again time notation because there was an smily, I don't no why.

UU:mm: ss

the extra space prevents that.

RE: invalid argument to data encode
Hello,

You need to edit the SwisslV5.ini file and replace the slash (/) by hyphen (-) in the date:

LastCtryDB=30/04/2021
LastStatDB=23/05/2021

by

LastCtryDB=30-04-2021
LastStatDB=23-05-2021

If you still in trouble I should check what happens remotely but it should work. There are PA users there using Swisslog with no issues. Contact me via whatsapp to arrange a Teamviewer session. My phone is in the web site.

RE: invalid argument to data encode
Hi Jordi,

Sorry, but the change in Swiss|V5.ini did not work.
I installed SwissLog on my laptop computer with runs with windows7
Of course I changed the .EXE file with te Beta version and edit the .ini file.
But it has the same problem as on my desktop
I am not familiar with TeamViewer.

RE: invalid argument to data encode
Hello Jordi,

I found the solution to the problem.
I changed the system time notation to dd/mm/yy
And changed the .ini file accordingly.

Thank you very much for your help and for the fb program.

RE: invalid argument to data encode
Correction to my latest reply

System time notation must be System date notation.

Sorry for the mistake
