US Worked All Counties CQ USA-CA) award
After finishing registering all the qsl cards from USA - also including LoTW confirmations - I want to generate a list of contacts as specified here https://cq-amateur-radio.com/cq_awards/c...wards.html for the application
How can I use Swisslog to generate such a list?

Hello Tom,
With Swisslog is possible to create any report you like but this requires skills handling the Power Query generator. I will take a look and I will try to create a query for this award. But please be patient. I will let you know here when I have created one.

Hello Tom,
Please find attached a report which automatically selects all QSOs having the US county and confirmed either by QSL card, LoTW or eQSL. Unzip then copy the US Counties.spq file in the QUERIES folder. Opern Swisslog and go to View / Logbook (select view) then load this query and perform the following steps:
Select the mode/band combination by means of the auto filters in case you need to select any specific band/mode. Otherwise go to next step.
Select the FIRST County of the listing: Press the penultimate button in toolbar to select the First/Last QSO in a group then select the SUB-REGION field from the left side and move it to the right side (the group field). Only the Sub-Region field must be in the Group fields section, If there are other fields remove them. Make sure the FIRST option is checked.
Press OK and the listing will contain the first County for the selected band/mode combination.
Export QSO (press the fifth button starting from left) and select "Microsoft Excel". Check the Export column headers option and open it in Excel.
Remove the fields not required by the CQ award such as QSL-R, LOTW-R, eQSL-R, EQSLAG and Registry Internal Nr. Save the file then send it to the award manager.

I have another question related to this, and this is in connection with the discussion about HomeQTH: I am well on the way on bringing the existing Swisslog database for JW5E club station up to date by registering all the received qsl cards, a work that was unfortuately dicontinued when the qsl manager JW5NM was SK in 2009. 2000 cards processed, 8000 more to go.
Because the bulk of the cards are from USA and Canada, checking the county and compare what the qsl card says, sometimes checking the ZIP code as well, and compare it to a lookup in the QRZ database is pretty tedious.
For a lot of the cards received after the year 2000, QRZ provides data that are consistent with the card, but for the older cards I very often have to fill in State (Region) and County (SUBREGION) manually. When the holder of a callsign has moved, e.g. retired and moved to Florida, I have tried to create a new QTH name like for example "Miami, FL" for the new QTH, and e.g. "Flat Rock, MI" for the old stated on the card.
Sometimes the holder of the callsign has changed, and I have to fill in all data manually, which is also the case when the callsign no longer exists in QRZ, and the holder apparently is SK.
In your opinion, is this a sensible way of handling this, and do you think the situation where one callsign is assigned to several counties will be caught by your report?

Hello Tom,
You don't need to do anything manually. If you are changing any award field, Swislsog will automatically create a new Home QTH with the name of the award reference which has changed to maintain different HomeQTH profiles for the QSO partner. Simply edit the QSO, change the State or County and Swisslog will handle the QTH name field automatically.

Ok, Thanks Reg. I have been looking for a complete list of US Counties vs ZIP codes in a tabular form, but so far I haven't been able to find one. My incompetence, I suppose...
