UTC Time / Windows Time : it is the same ?
Hello,

Sorry for my bad english.

The time in the + QSO windows is always the same of the time of Windows.

If i choose CTRL+O   Save UTC Time in log     or not choose Save UTC Time in log .... no change, it is the same.

Bonjour,

73 ! Et merci pour cet excellent logiciel !

Hello,

Swisslog reads the UTC defined accordimg your time zone defined in Windows. Review your time settings in Windows cloxk then select the local time as the windows time and make sure the time zone is correct according France (it will be Paris now - 1).

In Swisslog check always Save UTC in log.

Hello Nicolas,

You have to enter a callsign for clock to start counting. But is it working well now?

RE: UTC Time / Windows Time : it is the same ?
Hello Nicolas,

I guess you have replied NO when Swisslog prompted this:

Time difference to UTC for the current QTH does not match the settings in Windows!
Windows = 1.00 current QTH = 2.00
Press YES if you want to use the time difference defined in Windows.

Replying NO (as you did) Swisslog is calculating the time difference to UTC according the "Time Diff to UTC" setting defined in your My QTH (which now it will be 0, that's why UTC and local time is the same). This will cause to always change manually the time diff to UTC in your MyQTH to match the winter/summer time changes.

In order to fix this, do the following steps:
  • edit your MyQTH: in the QSO Entry window, go to the MyQTH tab then press the Detail / New button.
  • select your current MyQTH then press Edit button.
  • set 2 in the "Time Diff to UTC" field then press the Save button. You will be asked again that Time difference to UTC doesn't match. Press YES then all will work as expected. You normally have to use the Time difference to UTC defined in Windows.
