Website desktop slideshow
Hello Jordi - would it be possible to either increase the time each slide is shown or add the ability to pause the slideshow? There are some interesting desktop layouts that are too quickly displayed at 5 seconds each. To gain ideas from them, the Swisslog user needs more viewing time on each one. Maybe I have slow brain...

Erik.

RE: Website desktop slideshow
Hello Erik,

Yes you are right! I can make it a manual slideshow but I prefered the automatic way. I suggest 10 seconds. What do you think? Or maybe changing it by a manual slideshow...

Slideshows are best when they are both automatic but also when the slides can be manually selected. So - it scrolls though a slide every 10 seconds but clicking the buttons below the slides selects the relevant slide and holds it for viewing at the user's leisure. I don't know if that can be implemented easily Jordi but maybe you can do something to enhance it a bit.

Hello Erik,

Here it is! 10 seconds with manual selection by clicking in the buttons below or in the Next/Previous red buttons located in both sides.

Hi Jordi, the manual selection does not hold for long enough. There is a Desktop by EA1MK that it worth studying but the slideshow resumes a few seconds after selecting it. Unless the fault is in my browser - Microsoft Edge.

RE: Website desktop slideshow
Hello Erik,

It's a mix between manual and automatic way. You can click on the buttons below to see manually an specific slide but the automatic 10 seconds time is running in the background. So it will change automatically to another. Try to refresh the website, maybe your browser have in the cache memory the last site with 5 seconds slide time. Just click again in the button below which belongs to the selected slide. In this case, EA1MK Desktop is number 5 so you have to click in the 5th button below to go directly.

Hello Alfred - yes I remembered I could do that; I should have thought of it sooner. Thanks for the tip though. 73 de Erik.
