RE: new install error
Hello Erwin,

It seems that you need a component which is not found in your operating system. Visit this page to download and install the MDAC 2.8 package:

RE: new install error
Hello Erwin,

I really don't know what happen... please perform a windows Update and install all the important updates as well as Optional updates (except language packages). It's the first time I find this problem since Windows 98!! but I really think your operating system doesn't have all the componenents installed...

After installing everything from Windows Update restart and reinstall again Swisslog. I suppose that you have followed strictly the instructions given in the first screen of the installer (that is, disabling UAC, restart and run as administrator). I also recommend to force Swisslog to run as administrator (right click in the Swisslog desktop icon, Properties, Compatibility and check Run as administrator, Apply and OK). Otherwise uninstall and reinstall again.

RE: new install error
Hi Erwin,

The automatic updates only install important updates not the optional ones! please force a Windows Update to check and install all the optional updates (except the language packages).

I understand that it's a new installation, you are not using any previous Swisslog database and this error is displayed when you start Swisslog isn't it?

If all these fails please download Teamviewer and place it in your desktop: http://www.teamviewer.com/link/?url=505374&id=279590622

Tonight I will be at home about 19UTC. Run Teamviewer and send me the ID and password in Skype (user: jordiQQ or ea3gcv@hotmail.com) to make a remote session in your computer and see online what may happen. You may also send me a Whatsapp message to my phone +34656409020 when you are ready to connect,
