The LoTW web site is currently up and running.
p1k.arrl.org isn't reachable, but that's not the correct way to log in to
LoTW.

I have found a provisional workaround , by assigning 12.18.70.18 to p1k.arrl.org in my hosts file

Hi Fulvio,

You're right, I mistyped, it was 12.178.70.18, as a matter of fact until they change it again ;-)

p1k.arrl.org stands for 12.178.70.4....I should think so....

RE: LOTW problem ?
Dear users,

I have just tested the LOTW sync and it works ok with the previous p1k.arrl.org page so... could you test it again?

Maybe it was a temporaly failure of the LOTW server... I haven't got any answer yet from the LOTW but now works ok for me.

Before making any changes in the source code I want to be sure that really fails.

RE: LOTW problem ?
Hi Jordi,

Have a look at the ARRL-LOTW Yahoo group
All is explained in the latest threads

1A to 1E
Why have some logging applications recently been unable to acces

ask Dave AA6YQ

p1k.arrl.org is not "the correct way to log in to LOTW", it is lotw.arrl.org
Quote:Because some logging applications had the previous URL "hardwired" and could not be updated to employ the new URL, the ARRL put
in place a "forwarding service" so those applications could continue to submit QSOs to LoTW

In short, it works again, until they make another maintenance...as far as I'm concerned, I keep my internal re-routing p1k.arrl.org----> lotw.arrl.org
