RE: 208: no such child
Hi Nicolas,
In ordee to avoid performance issues it's extremely important you exceptions to the Swisslog folder in yiur antivirus and also add an exception to the SwisslV5.exe to your firewall to allow all incoming/outgoing communications. Do this also for JTDX. It may happen also that a Windows Update is stuck and this causes issues because CPU usage is very high. With no progrmas running enter Administrator task and go to Performance. If CPU usage is more than 50%, there is problem in your operating system. Search CMD in the Windows's search field and open the System symbol as administrator. Then execute this command:
SFC /SCANALL
At the you will get a report if some system files were corrupted or not then restart. CPU usage should be less than 5% at Windows startup.
Regarding the error message, try this:
Rename SwisslV5.ini (Swisslog configuration file) to SwisslV5_old.ini. Start Swisslog and you will have to configure it again. Follow the Quick Start and Setup Guide. Maybe the configuration file is corrupted and creating the configuratuon fron scratch solves this issue.
