5.103 Query - G4NAQ - 26-12-2021

many thanks for the new version / features. Just looked at the S Meter feature which does not appear to be working either on RX or TX with the IC-7300.
I went to the updated help details and noticed the Transceiver Interface screenshot has changed but the version I am presented with has not? i.e. there is no trace option within 5.103 I have.

Hi Clive,
Works perfectly in the IC-7300 but you need to configure it in any of the transceiver options supported by the S-Meter function. Read carefully the Transceiver control chapter, especially the Time between two queries option and the S-Meter section.

Thanks Jordi, I now understand this only works if you are using the SL IC-7300 support and I use OmniRig to allow COM port sharing.

I can confirm. No problem with TRX control on my TS480 but S-meter remains at 0.
TRX control window works as expected (set freq/mode).
I tried a restart of SWL and reboot.

Effectively S-Meter doesn't work if using OmniRig because this program only sends frequency and mode.

TS-480SAT is Kenwood so it should work, right? I'm not using omnirig. I remember that years ago in HRD S-meter was working too.

I tested with a TS-480 and S-Meter worked well. However I have improved and fixed some things for Kenwood support. I have released a new beta today with some changes (please read https://www.swisslogforwindows.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=962).
Replace the beta and try but it should work perfectly. In case of issues contact me via whatsapp to arrange a Teamviewer session.
