Discrepancy between column headers and column contents in logbook views - JW6VDA - 19-09-2023

There is a discrepancy as stated in the title. The contents of the columns with headers "Uploaded date HRDLOG" and "Uploaded HRDLOG" are interchanged.

The same goes for the columns with headers labeled "Uploaded date QRZ" and "Uploaded QRZ".

This is in version 5.107, but I have noticed this in earlier versions as well, so I am not able ti identify which version it ocurred first. Possibly it has been there since the beginning of time...

Hi Tom,

Columns are not interchanged. It's an issue of your query. Go to the QUERIES folder then delete the file with the name of your query and RPL extension (it's the user customized file). When you open the query again it will show the names properly. You can check this if you open the STATUS ONLINE LOGBOOKS query from the Logbooks folder (delete the corresponding RPL file first).

Nope. Did not work. Discrepancies still there. How can I obtain the original *.spq file, the one that gives the correct header for the columns?

Dear Jordi.

I have now deleted all the SPQ and RPL files in the query/logbooks directory and reinstalled 5.107.

The discrepancies are still there:  LOTW, eQSL and ClubLog columns are OK,
HRDLOG, QRZ, HAMQTH and HAMLOG are wrong.

Please see screenshots, and check the SPQ files in the installer. This is way beyond my ICT competency level, I'm afraid.

regards Tom

Hi Tom,

I would need your database but I insist headers are OK. You are uploading QSOs into QRZ. Proof of this is because you have the QRZ ID which is obtained by Swisslog after uploading QSOs into QRZ. If HAMQTH and HRDLOG fields are empty and you have enabled to upload QSOs in realtime. you will have to review your settings because they are wrong. HRDLOG needs the Upload code which is not the HRDLOG login password! For HAMQTH, if you are using more than one call, you need to add every callsign in your HAMQTH account in order to accept the uploads from Swisslog.

Of the ones that are wrong, I only use QRZ. But in the column named «Uploaded date QRZ” there are only tickboxes, corresponding to the field value 1 (no dates) For those qsos that are not uploaded, the tickbox is empty, corresponding to the field value 0. In the column named “Uploaded QRZ”, there are the dates for uploading.

How is it that you insist that this is correct, when the opposite is the case for the corresponding columns for Clublog, LOTW and eQsl, as I have shown in the screenshots?

Please explain. If necessary, I can send you the affected databases (LA6VDA, JW6VDA, OH6VDA, OH2K, OF2K, JW5E).

This also affects all queries (logbooks) that contain these columns.

Please advise.

By the way, am I the only user who has noted these discrepancies?

Feeedback from other users would be most welcome.

Hi Tom,

OOOPPS!! you were right!! I was revising the queries and the problem came from the language file!! all titles in English were exchanged! In Spanish was right and that was the reason i insisted all was displayed properly! SORRY!

Please replace the language file in the C:\Swisslog folder by this one:
